What is Nordic Walking?

Nordic Walking is a full-body, low-impact exercise that uses specially designed poles to engage your upper body while walking. Originally developed in Finland as a summer training method for cross-country skiers, it has grown in popularity worldwide thanks to its effectiveness and accessibility. Whether you’re on a trail, in the park, or walking your neighborhood, Nordic Walking turns a simple walk into a full-body workout.

Join us for a 6-week introductory Nordic Walking series designed for beginners and curious walkers alike!

Mondays, May 12 – June 23, 2025
Please note: No walk on May 19 (Victoria day long weekend)

🕘 Time:
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

📍Location:  St. Catharines
(Meeting location TBA)

What’s Included:

✔️ 6 weeks of guided walks with experienced instruction

✔️Warm-up and post walk stretching with a certified fitness instructor

$60 – Includes pole rental
