About the event

Step into a true Niagara winter experience that blends fresh air, gentle adventure, and locally crafted flavours. Begin with a guided snowshoe hike through the peaceful trails of the Woodend Conservation Area, where snow-covered forests and escarpment views create the perfect setting to slow down, move your body, and enjoy nature at its quietest. No experience is required—just a sense of curiosity and a love for the outdoors.

After the hike, we’ll head to the Niagara College Teaching Brewery for a relaxed beer or cider tasting. Warm up indoors while sampling a curated selection of small-batch brews or ciders, learning about the craft process behind each pour. It’s the ideal balance of invigorating winter adventure and cozy indulgence—an easygoing experience designed to help you embrace the season and enjoy great company along the way.
